Privacy Policy
The following principles are based on the importance of your privacy:
(1) When you join we ask you for information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"), for example, we ask you for your name, e-mail and address when you register. We use your personal information so that you can be identified to others when you have given permission, to understand your requirements of membership, and from time to time to inform you of new features, services and products from iStadia.
(2) iStadia does not ask you to provide personal details of a potentially sensitive nature, such as your ethnic origin or religious beliefs. If however you choose to supply such information voluntarily, it will be viewable by any other member or casual visitor to the site and will be processed in accordance with this policy.
(3) You MUST be 18 years old or over to join the iStadia website and/or attend iStadia events. Under 18’s can join (minimum age is 14) with the express permission of a parent or legal guardian with the additional submission of a name, email address and contact telephone number including agreement to contact said parent/legal guardian.
(4) We will not give your information to other companies to send you information about their products or services unless you have agreed to do so (See point 11).
(5) To make sure that the personal information you provide to iStadia is correct and current, you may review and update your personal information at any time.
(6) Personal information that you choose to provide to another web site will be subject to the privacy policies of that web site. For example, if you follow a hyperlink from istadia.com to another site (e.g., an advertiser or merchant), information you provide is subject to that site's privacy policy rather than our privacy policy.
(7) By its very nature as a community, the iStadia website is a medium by which sports and exercise professionals and participants seek to make contact with each other. With our specific consent, all the personal information you enter onto the iStadia site and choose to be displayed, will be viewable by any other member or any casual visitor to the site, including search engines that index the pages of the iStadia website.
(8) We may use that personal information to improve your interaction with the site and with other members of iStadia. However, during your membership registration process, or at any time thereafter, you have the option of having your personal information hidden from third parties who may visit the iStadia website.
(9) iStadia is open to global membership so your personal information may be viewed in countries which may not have the same level of legal protection for personal data that exists in the United Kingdom.
(10) Your personal information may be used by us to promote iStadia events, services and products that we have available now or may choose to introduce in the future. By signing up for iStadia membership you are opting into iStadia announcements and newsletters, you can opt-out of these at any time by changing your account settings.
(11) iStadia may disclose general information (aggregated non-personal information) about its members (consolidated by geographic location, job title etc) but not individual personal information to third parties without the members permission.
(12) iStadia uses cookies or other similar software to collect data about users to track their movements around its website and in order to assist those users to automatically and effortlessly log in on subsequent visits to its site.
(13) Where you have provided permission, iStadia may disclose your personal information to third parties with whom it seeks to develop or create partnerships.
(14) You may leave iStadia at any time and upon leaving you may demand that ALL the personal information relating to you, be deleted. This will be carried out as soon as possible but within 10 working days. Refunds are not applicable unless iStadia has been proven to be negligent.
(15) Subscribers are able to see who within the membership has looked at their profile page. Advertisers within the site are able to see who within the membership has looked at their web page, Club/Forum Leaders are able to see who within the membership has looked at their club home page, you may amend your setting in your profile so you will not appear within these features, the default setting is on (you will appear).
(16) If at any time you believe that iStadia has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by email to support@istadia.com and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
