Thought Technology's Biofeedback (PsychoPhysiology) System Expands

Thought Technology and Nemesis BV are pleased to announce a distribution agreement for Thought Technology’s Biofeedback and Neurofeedback instrumentation. The agreement covers the Dutch and Benelux markets according to Lawrence Klein, Vice President of Thought Technology and Henk Kraaijenhof , President of Nemesis BV.

Thought Technology is the world’s leading manufacturer of psychophysiological instrumentation used in sport, education, corporations, and medicine. Their single channel, dual channel, five, eight and ten channel instruments measure muscle tension (EMG), heart rate (EKG & BVP), brain Wave (EEG), skin conductance (SC), temperature, and respiration. Psychologists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other health specialists use these instruments to teach patients and students self regulation skills.

Thought Technology manufactures the ProComp Infiniti which is the instrumentation of the MindRoom – conceived by Psychologist Dr. Bruno de Michelis, who’s been the chief sports psychologist at AC Milan for twenty years. The football squad, working with the Thought Technology equipment, won the Champions League title in May 2007.

 Nemesis is a company whose focus is the sale of testing and training apparatus.  These are especially designed for elite athletes and their coaches to facilitate peak performance. The target groups are elite athletes, trainers and coaches, the accompanying (advisory) teams, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, sports physicians etc.

Henk Kraaijenhof also started a new company, Allosta, two years ago which specializes in testing a wide spectrum of high-performing clients, like CEO’s, top managers, athletes, Special Forces, police squads, and others who must  perform under pressure. Allosta has an exclusive program with KLM Health Services.

Henk Kraaijenhof has authored the well-known book, “The Art of Performance”. His experiences & training in sports range from Olympic medalists and world champions and record-holders in Track and Field, like Nelli Cooman, Merlene Ottey, Troy Douglas, Mary Onyali, Letitia Vriesde, to tennisplayers like Mary Pierce and swimmers like Pieter van den Hoogenband and soccer clubs like Juventus, Turin. He has been an accredited Olympic coach in four Olympic Games and also works with Special Forces units for performance enhancement.

He is specialized in stress measurements and management, the area in which he uses psycho-physiological measuring and biofeedback equipment. Henk Kraaijenhof sees a great future for Thought Technology equipment as a valuable diagnostic and training tool.
