LOCOG is committed to developing a world-class Anti-Doping programme before, during and after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities:
Develop field operations position profiles.
Source and recruit Doping Control personnel including Doping Control Officers (DCOs) and chaperones.
Coordinate and implement the training of DCOs, Blood Control Officers (BCOs) and chaperones.
Source and manage the accommodation of DCOs.
Manage DCOs, BCOs and chaperones, including day-to-day liaison.
Schedule shifts for DCOs, BCOs and chaperones.
Ensure appropriate accreditation.
Recruit, coordinate and evaluate personnel for and at Test Events.
Person specification
Key knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications required:
Previous experience of working in anti-doping an advantage.
Knowledge of anti-doping rules and regulations including the International Standard for Testing.
Experience of doping control at sporting events.
Experience of managing anti-doping staffing requirements.
A track record of leading and managing projects and project teams effectively with a strong attention to detail.
Strong ability to build working relationships with other departments and communicate effectively in a senior corporate environment.
An ability to develop detailed plans and execute those plans effectively to immovable timelines.
Knowledge of the structure of Olympic and Paralympic sport an advantage.
