iStadia Ltd, the company that runs this website is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who can help us build the iStadia brand (istadia.com) in the USA and Canada.
iStadia is growing globally due to the networking and contributions to content (articles, blogs, interest groups (Clubs), forums, jobs etc.) made by its members. We want to build on this by appointing several individuals across the USA and Canada who can market and 'sell' iStadia by using their own contacts and networks to increase
1. Memberships
2. Visitor numbers to iStadia
Currently 25% of visitors (users of the products and services of iStadia members) are from the USA and Canada. Less than 25% of our membership is from the USA and Canada. We want to increase both to 50%.
Can you help us do that?
Ideally we would like you to have some or all of the following:
- Extensive contacts/networks in sport and exercise (professional or otherwise)
- Knowledge of sport, sport science or the sport and fitness sector including sport business.
- Be able to provide regular US/Canadian base content via articles, blogs, forums and Clubs (regional North American Clubs covering iStadia's activities is a concept we want to develop).
- Post jobs relevant to the North American market by attracting paying job ads.
- Promote iStadia to NGB's (National Governing Bodies), government, academia (including students), professional sports associations, institutions associated with the sport and fitness business sector as well as sport science based associations.
- Feedback relevant information to iStadia to suppport it's fundamental objective of continuous improvement for both members and visitors alike.
This role could potentially suit a real sport or exercise enthusiast, perhaps someone like a journalist (possibly retired), someone from the media, ex-administrators of NGB's or sports associations or ex-pro athletes.
