I am currently studying for an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Bangor in Wales. I am hoping to continue to study in order to gain BASES accreditation to work as a fully accredited Sports Psychologist.

Whilst studying I am also coaching the Bangor University Men's Basketball Team in Northern Conference 3A of the BUSA Leagues.  I am also the Assistant Coach for the Welsh Universities' Basketball Team competing in the British University Games in Edinburgh for the 07/08 season.

While my Sport Psychology experience is currently limited, a significant part of my further study will be practical work with sporting performers through the Supervised Experience elements of the BASES accreditation.

Within the SE element of my MSc course I have worked with the Anglesey Under-16 Basketball team and have also had the opportunity to conduct research with several of the Warwick University Basketball Teams.

I attended the The 2008 British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences Annual Student
Conference in Bedford and won the Postgraduate Oral Award Runner-Up for the presentation of my MSc research.
