Inside Performance was founded when I took an NLP Practitioner training and I realised (after a lot of sceptisicm on my behalf!) how useful and effective NLP was as a technology, and how beneficial it would be in the sports world. My goal was to introduce this area to Sport across the board, as it provides many of the practical tools and techniques needed to enhance sport performance, which are sometimes left out when just looking at the theoretical aspects of psychology.
As such, we're the first port of call for NLP Programmes in Sport, and our highly acclaimed NLP Practitioner for Sport programme has been attended by some of the UK's top athletes and coaches, and as such has been credited with being a major factor in many coaches success, not least Olympic medals gained at Beijing in 2008, World Championships in 2009...and with fingers crossed, in London 2012!
We use a number of performance technologies in our work, most notably Sport Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and NLP to provide High Performance Solutions for Sport and Business.I am passionate about training, and I love working with the groups on our programmes. I also love working with individuals in the sport performance domain, and we offer both training programmes and 'on-site' support for players, teams and clubs, actually putting these practical solutions into place.
I'm also a BASES supervisor, supporting and guiding trainee sport psychologists through their professional accreditation process to become Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientists.
Overall, I love working in this field, and truly believe that everyone has the ability to succeed in their chosen role - we just sometimes need a little guidance to help us get there!
As a consultancy, we offer both certification and bespoke development programmes specifically designed with performance enhancement in mind, and focus these around the areas of developing Emotional Intelligence in coaches, athletes and those looking to support the athlete and team.
We have certification programmes in: NLP Practitioner Certification for Sport; NLP Practitioner Certification for Business; NLP Master Practioner and we also offer three day diplomas in Sport for those wanting to just dip their toe!
We also have an NLP and Sport Psychology Home Learning Programme, due for launch late March 2010, which is a practical, multi media programme designed to help coaches and support staff learn about this area in their own time, and at their own pace - offering a real alternative when time and money doesn't stretch to a development programme - just yet!
Our NLP Leadership programmes are designed to specifically develop the individual delegate, and as such concentrate on building not only emotional intelligence understanding of others, but specifically, being emotionally intelligent about themselves.
In addition, we offer 1-2-1 coaching and sport psychology development, and have worked extensively within both Sport and Corporate Business assisting individuals and teams to get the best out of themselves and the people they work with.
We are proud of the fact that we have been involved with UK Sport since 2005, working towards the success achieved in Beijing 2008, and will continue to work closely with them to ensure the UK Sport coaching team delivers 'quality coaching to athletes on UK Sport's World Class Performance Programme, a system devised to 'identify, develop and refine talented British Athletes' for London 2012 and beyond.
Inside Performance™ have been delivering training and CPD programmes as part of 'The UK Sport World Class Coaching Strategy, including both the Elite Coach Development Programme and the Winning Coaches Programme to develop and deliver High Performance Coaching Teams and Podium Coaches for athletes expected to medal.

Other than that, I like all sports and do a lot of football/rugby watching, and also love it when we have Olympics and big championships as it gets me all fired up! Having grown up in the Black Country I'm a life long supporter of the Baggies, and know with a passion that just as I came out supporting them, I'll die supporting them - I just wish they wouldn't put me through agonies and ecstasy every season boing boing up and down the leagues!
I live with my partner Matt, and our two rescue cats, Bramble and Fudge, in Surbiton, SW London.
