Michael Vaughan, Retirement and Personal Responsibility

Michael Vaughan seeks divine interventionThe BBC is reporting this morning that former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan is set to retire from first class cricket. Apparently "his right knee is behind the decision".

You see, that's the problem. No-one wants to take responsibility for themselves these days....

(In the words of Basil Brush, "boom boom")

Hi Rob, having been involved in coaching golf for many years I appreciate the comment. Many times I have heard golfers blame an elbow, shoulder, knee, bad or unlucky bounce. My call is you were holding the club, in court of law, guilty as charged, YOU did it nobody else. It is time for everyone, not just sportsmen and women to take responsibility, maybe then politicians will follow, who knows? Keep Smiling, Living and Learning, Tony Westwood.
