New series of sport textbooks

I am pleased to announce a new series of textbooks for students in higher education. The series is published by Learning Matters (www.learningmatters.co.uk). The first title has just been published: Sport Sociology, edited by Peter Craig and Paul Beedie (ISBN 978-1-84445-166-1). If you're a lecturer in the subject, you can request an inspection copy via the publisher's website.

I'm commissioning further titles for the series across a number of courses including:

• Sport Management
• Sport Development
• Sport Studies
• Sport and Exercise Science
• Coaching

I expect to commission a couple of dozen titles in all (further suggestions of titles and authors always welcome!)
